Packing Tips

Here's a few tips we've learnt along the way:- 

• Plan your storage space. Place items you may need access to in the front and large bulky items at the back. 

• Make sure you have defrosted your fridge/freezer and dried it out with a towel.  Leave the door open slightly to allow airflow. 

• Drain your washing machine.

• List your items on the outside of the box. Better yet take a photo and attach it to the outside of the box for fast identification of items.

• Use lots of carboard to place between furniture.

• Remove the legs off tables to save space.

• Allow air flow between your items if possible.

Please note we do not allow the storage of dangerous goods.  These are defined as ‘goods which are in fact or at law noxious, dangerous, explosive, radioactive, flammable or capable by their nature of causing damage or injury to their container, other goods or to any persons, or animals, or property.    Batteries of any kind are not to be stored.
